North Twin and South Twin Lakes
It’s a big lake that claims two towns on its shores, Conover and Phelps. North Twin Lake boasts 2,788 acres and is 60’ at its deepest point. It is classified as a drainage lake and the average depth is 28 feet.
Anglers can expect to find Large and Smallmouth Bass as well as Muskie, Walleye and Bluegills. There are two public boat launches. On the northwest shore there is a boat launch on Lakota Road in Conover. There are two paved lanes for the launch ramps. The parking features space for 11 to 15 vehicles and for six to ten vehicles with trailers.
In Phelps, head to the opposite shore on Millerville Road on the southeast shore. Here the launch features a single paved ramp and has 20-25 stalls for parking vehicles with trailers. Neither launch has fish cleaning stations.
